GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — In the Massachusetts Primaries, John Deaton won out in the race for the Republican candidate and will face Elizabeth Warren in the November election for the U.S. Senate seat. For the U.S. House of Representatives, Richard Neal ran uncontested in District 1, as did James McGovern in District 2.
Greenfield’s unofficial election results show 2,133 voters participated in the primary, with turnout consistent with the rest of the state.
