(Deerfield, MA) The Town of Deerfield is facing fiscal restraints that are limiting the Highway Department operations. Consequently, the Highway Department will be unable to treat, shovel, or plow sidewalks this winter. According to the town, property owners will be responsible for maintaining safe passage along the sidewalks in front of their property.
