(Deerfield, MA) — A bobcat found injured in Deerfield Sunday is recovering after receiving emergency medical treatment at a local veterinary hospital. A Deerfield Police officer on patrol at around 8:30 Sunday morning responded to a report of a bobcat with a leg injury laying prone near the driveway of the Treehouse Brewing Company on Routes 5 and 10. Staff members from the nearby Veterinary Emergency Hospital were able to treat the animal, who was then turned over to a local wildlife rehab facility, where it is expected to make a full recovery.
