(Deerfield, MA) — Deerfield residents will have to wait until August to once again have their say regarding a proposed Dollar General store in that town. The Deerfield Zoning Board of Appeals is continuing the public hearing date to August 13th. Dollar General’s proposal to build a new store on Routes 5 and 10 has drawn strong opposition from abutters and town residents who feel the development is a wrong fit for the area. Written comments on the proposal are still being accepted.
