Deerfield To Hold Public Hearing On Accessory Dwelling Unit Zoning Change

(Deerfield, MA) — Deerfield residents get the chance tonight to comment on a proposed zoning change related to so-called “accessory dwelling units.” The Deerfield Selectboard and Planning Board will host the joint virtual hearing, which will focus on a zoning change to allow property owners with extra space to convert that space into smaller housing units, also known as “mother in law apartments.” The hearing begins at 7pm and will be broadcast on Zoom technology.
