GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) – Three men who were arrested after allegedly breaking into a man’s house on West Street in Greenfield Thursday, April 4th and beating the homeowner, were arraigned in Greenfield District Court Friday. Court documents revealed there may be evidence in the form of text messages disproving the breaking and entering allegation, as the messages between a defendant and the homeowner allegedly show they were invited to the residence.

Following the arraignment, a dangerousness hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 9th  to determine if the defendants will be held without bail for up to 120 days. The woman who was also arrested at the scene Thursday was transferred to Northampton when two separate warrants were discovered upon her arrest.
