(Combined Sources) Those hoping to see a Dollar General store in South Deerfield have been dealt another setback. The building area along Routes 5 & 10 and Mill Village Road has been declared as bordering or containing vegetated wetlands by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. This means Dollar General would have to file a notice of intent with the state to build on the land. The Deerfield Zoning Board of Appeals will also be considering this information at its next meeting.
