(Deerfield, MA) The Dollar General project in South Deerfield took a step forward on Wednesday night when the Deerfield Zoning Board of Appeals approved a special permit with conditions. The decision passed in favor with a vote of 4-1 to grant the permit. The vote took place after reviewing an 11 page draft decision of approval. The proposed Dollar General Store, which is planned to be built at the corner of Routes 5 &10 and Mill Village Road, still needs the Planning Board’s approval.
