BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The first results of Massachusetts September primaries are in and as of Monday afternoon a 405,000 voters have cast their ballot during early voting, roughly 7,000 of which were in person votes.
The voter turnout so far is sitting at 8.1% with 40.5% of mail-in ballots returned. Approximately 333,000 Democrats, 70,000 Republicans, and 2,500 Libertarians have voted early. In person early voting will continue through August 30th.
