(Wendell, MA) A bit of a rumble was felt throughout the town of Wendell Friday afternoon. The US Geological Survey reported a 2.4 magnitude earthquake at 5:50PM. That was the first earthquake reported in Franklin County since January 2010. Friday’s quake occurred about 3.5 kilometers below the surface and is considered minor.
