SHUTESBURY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Eastern Franklin County Health District may be dissolved with a vote coming to Shutesbury, Erving, and Northfield in a future Town Meeting. The District was formed by Town Meeting votes in the three towns in 1985, but has been much less active in recent years, prompting the potential dissolution.
