NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — 24 year old Aleksandr Hobbie of Easthampton, was sentenced to 4–5 years in state prison, followed by supervised probation for eight years, after he pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and 10 counts of disseminating the material. The charges came after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to an investigation uncovering over 4,000 images and videos that had been sent to over 300 users.
