Election Day Features Greenfield School Committee Race, Ballot Question On Referendum Requirements

(undated) — It’s Election Day in a number of communities across the region. Polls will be open until 8pm as voters in Northampton and Holyoke head to the polls to elect new mayors. In Greenfield, a five-way race for three school committee seats tops the ballot as well as a non-binding referendum question asking if voters approve increasing the signature threshold for voter-sponsored ballot questions. There are also a number of write-in candidates vying for seats on the Greenfield City Council. There are several candidates on the ballot unopposed for a number of positions.
