(Montague, MA) There has been an emergency road closure on Turnpike Road in Montague. As of about 5:20 p.m. Friday, June 10th Turnpike Road from Dell Street to Walnut Street in Montague is closed due to a broken telephone pole and low hanging wires.
The Montague Police Department and Turners Falls Fire Department are on scene and the electric company crews are on the way. They ask that the public avoids the area, if possible. Updates to come.
