(Shutesbury, MA) An employee of a trash truck company suffered a traumatic leg injury after being run over by one of the company’s trucks this morning in Shutesbury. A helicopter was called to West Pelham Road at about 9:30 a.m. and took the victim to Baystate Medical Center. The victim’s condition has not been made public. The Amherst Fire Department was also called to the scene of the accident, as was the Massachusetts State Police. The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
