(Erving, MA) 138 voters in Erving cast their vote against the proposition 2 1/2 override to assess an additional $1.83 million in funding for the current fiscal year’s operating expenses and capital expenditures, while 35 voted in favor of the override. The override had also all been voted down at last week’s Special Town Meeting. The town select board now must determine another path to funding the town’s budget, with another override attempt or a different alternative.
