Erving Town Meeting To Be Held July 11

(Erving, MA) The Erving Town Meeting, which was recessed and continued until July 11 due to COVID-19 ,will take place at Erving Elementary at 28 Northfield Road. The meeting will take place from 10:00am – 1:00pm. A tent will be provided but the meeting is limited to Erving registered voters, town officials, and the press. To view the town warrant click here.

Capital Improvements on the agenda include server maintenance and a network upgrade, replacement cruisers for the Police Department, Police vehicle computers, a dry storage building, pedestrian safety and speed monitoring, and park renovation and improvements. The total amount allocated for capital improvements is $609,000. Also on the agenda is a motion to change Board of Selectmen to Select Board to reflect a more all inclusive nature. French King Solar has asked the town to approve a 20 year agreement for Payment In Lieu of Taxes for an electric solar power generating facility.
