Erving Town Meeting Saturday

(ERVING) –A special town meeting has been scheduled for Saturday in Erving. One of the warrants to be voted on includes whether to approve an addition to the Erving Wastewater Plant. Other articles include spending $75,000 for new radios and communication equipment for the public safety departments and money transfers between town accounts. The meeting begins at 10AM outside of the Erving Senior Center.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”

On this 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on America, the Greenfield Fire Department hosted a ceremony of remembrance at the fire station at 41 Main Street.

Fire Chief Robert Strahan addressed a small gathering of residents and GFD members. Strahan said September 11 this year was in some ways was very reminiscent of September 11, 2001.
