(Turners Falls, MA) Franklin County Technical School closed early today due to an issue with the fire alarm and public address systems. The decision to close the school for today, Wednesday, June 8th, was reached by both school and fire officials as the state fire code says that students cannot safely be allowed in the building without “proper notifications components in place and operational.”
The students will be returning home on their respective buses and the students that were dropped off will be waiting to be picked up. The Turners Falls Fire Department has asked that anyone with questions or concerns contact them directly at 413-863-9023.
