Federal Street In Greenfield Closed For Water Main Repairs

(Greenfield, MA) Federal Street northbound from Main Street to Church Street will be closed for most of today, Wednesday June 28th, as the Greenfield DPW responds to a water main break. The right and left turn lanes from Main Street onto Federal Street are also closed and traffic will be detoured to High and Church Streets. Federal Street southbound will be open for access to Main Street and businesses.

The DPW discovered the water break Wednesday morning at Tyler Place, according to the City of Greenfield. Updates to follow when the street is reopened.
