(Boston, MA) FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, has denied Governor Healey disaster funding request after heavy rains in September brought damage to the area. A spokesperson for the Governor, Karissa Hand, has said the administration plans to appeal to decision and do everything they can to support local communities as they recover from the damages caused by last year’s weather events.
