Finalists Announced In Search For New Union 28 Superintendent

(Erving, MA) Three finalists have been announced in the search for a new Union 28 superintendent for the Shutesbury, Leverett, Erving, Wendell, and New Salem Elementary Schools. The current superintendent, Jennifer Culkeen, will be retiring at the end of the year and the Union 28 Superintend Search Committee has been working since last fall to find a replacement. The three finalists are Christine Shea, a previous principal of Swift River School; Shannon White-Cleveland, the Athol Elementary School principal; and Deanne LeBlanc, Gateway schools’ director of curriculum.
