A fire at Scott’s Garage on Mormon Hollow Road in Wendell was quickly extinguished yesterday afternoon. Firefighters from Wendell, Erving, Orange, Turners Falls, Montague and Shutesbury all responded to the call at 3:15 yesterday. Minor damage was reported, mostly from smoke from the small fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
