SOUTH DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — South Deerfield Fire crews responded to reports of a gas odor in a building on Elm Circle Friday afternoon.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a stove burner had been left on, releasing the odor. The building was ventilated and checked for safety before allowing re-entry.
