SOUTH DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Just after midnight Thursday morning, South Deerfield Fire responded to the Red Roof Inn after reports came in of pallets on fire in the parking lot. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire and soak surrounding grass to prevent spread.
