(Shelburne, MA) A tractor fire at a local apple orchard was quickly extinguished, according to Shelburne Fire Department. The department responded to reports of a tractor fire Friday afternoon, and found a visible fire in the engine. The farmer apparently was able to keep the fire at bay with fire extinguishers. Colrain Fire Department assisted with their bush truck and four wheel drive Engine. Unfortunately the tractor is a complete loss.
