Fire On Tully Mountain; Crews Return Today

(ORANGE) — Yesterday afternoon, a brush fire was reported on Tully Mountain in Orange. Fire crews from 5 area units responded to the scene and remained until dark trying to put out the fire. They will return to Tully Mountain today to continue the put out the blaze. There is no threat to any structures. Mountain Road and Tully Mountain Hiking Trails will be closed today.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”

On this 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on America, the Greenfield Fire Department hosted a ceremony of remembrance at the fire station at 41 Main Street.

Fire Chief Robert Strahan addressed a small gathering of residents and GFD members. Strahan said September 11 this year was in some ways was very reminiscent of September 11, 2001.
