(Deerfield, MA) A first alarm brush fire has been reported on Christian Drive in Deerfield. South Deerfield, Deerfield, and Greenfield Fire Departments are reporting as well as Whately for fire station coverage. The extent and severity of the fire is not yet known. While today is not a red flag warning day, the warning level for brush fires is very high and a red flag warning has been issued in Southern Vermont.
