TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — FirstLight is responsible for another oil spill at the Turners Falls Dam. The spill is believed to have been caused by ice buildup, which also prevented staff from accessing the site.
It wasn’t until five days later on March 2nd, was the gate able to be accessed by crew and they have not been able to tell how much oil was spilled.
