BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is reporting very high levels of influenza activity as the state moves through peak flu season, leaving thousands of residents sick, many of whom are experiencing serious complications and high levels of hospitalization.
Influenza has reportedly been connected to four deaths of pediatric patients during recent weeks in Massachusetts, with one occurring this past week.
