(Greenfield, MA) — New housing options may be coming to East Greenfield. A Brooklyn, New York-based developer has announced plans to purchase the former Greenfield Center School property on Montague City Road for conversion into new market-rate apartments. The center school recently moved to a new facility on Greenfield’s Bernardston Road. A formal presentation on the proposed development is expected to come before the Greenfield Zoning Board of Appeals this fall.
