GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — UPDATE: After an arrest in 2023 on child pornography charges, former Stoneleigh-Burnham employee Matthew Fisher, has been sentenced to 26 years in federal prison. Fisher pleaded guilty in his New York court case after an IT employee found evidence of child pornography on Fisher’s work computer and passed the evidence on to the FBI.

11/30/2023 – A former Stoneleigh-Burnham employee has been arrested by the FBI in New York on child pornography charges. Matthew Fisher left Stoneleigh-Burnham in 2013 and went on to work at The Gow School. Fisher allegedly used his employer-owned laptop to view child pornography and an IT employee discovered documents containing links to the images. Laurie Lambert, Head of Stoneleigh-Burnham said there was no evidence of wrongdoing during their time at the school.
