Bud Foster, who started a small Mom and Pop store and turned it into Foster’s Supermarket, has died. Frank “Bud” Foster died at his home in Phoenix early yesterday morning. The year 1941 marked Foster’s start in business as an owner at the student store at Mount Herman School. He took over Creek’s Market on Chapman Street in Greenfield in 1952 and then moved to the location on the corner of Conway and Allen Streets. Bud Foster celebrated his 100th birthday last May.
