(Agawam, MA) Franklin County fire departments were part of a task force at the Bondi’s Island landfill fire in Agawam over the weekend. Turners Falls, Orange, and Greenfield were some of the area departments that were part of the force that was meant to relieve crews already working on the fire. The fire burned the compost, brush, and yard waste section of the landfill.
