COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The municipal energy aggregation programs in fifteen Franklin County towns will see an increase in electricity rates. The new rate is approximately 14 cents per kilowatt-hour which will result in a seven-dollar increase on the average user’s monthly bill.
These towns include Colrain, Ashfield, Buckland, Deerfield, Whately, Wendell, Warwick, Gill, Orange, Northfield, and others.
