GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The newly-formed Franklin County Police Cadet Program is set to officially launch later this spring. The program will serve as an introduction for students who have an interest in Law Enforcement and the multiple facets this career field has to offer. It is open to students who have completed the 8th grade through grade 12, ages 13-21.
Police Cadets will attend weekly meetings at GCC on Wednesday’s from 6:30pm-8:30pm, with trips to other Police Departments and agencies within the Law Enforcement field. The classes will be instructed by Franklin County Police Officers and Deputy Sherrif’s with topics such as patrol procedures, defensive tactics, motor-vehicle law, CPR & First-aid, Fair & Impartial policing, just to name a few.

March 19th 6pm-8pm at Mohawk Trail Regional High School
March 21st 6pm-8pm at Franklin County Technical High School
