(Greenfield, MA) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is joining the effort to get local teachers vaccinated for COVID before they have to return to the classroom. Franklin County Sheriff Chris Donelan has announced that the medical team at the Franklin County House of Correction will join in the vaccination effort beginning this week. Donelan says the number of inmates at the jail has reduced to a level which will allow medical officials the time to assist teachers in getting the shots they need before in-person learning begins next month.
