(Turners Falls, MA) Students at Franklin County Technical School, or Franklin Tech, will return to school on September 15 according to a new reopening plan released by the school. Plans for full time in person instruction, hybrid learning, and full time remote learning were outlined in the report. A phased-in hybrid model was the top choice of parents and staff. The approach limits the amount of students in the building at one time to 25%-50%. The goal is eventual full time in person instruction, but the prevalence of COVID-19 in the community will play a key factor in determining if the hybrid plan moves forward towards full time instruction or back to full time remote learning.
