(undated) — The recent pandemic has resulted in more people staying at home for longer periods of time, and that has resulted in an increase in trash and recycling numbers. That’s according to data released this week by the Franklin County Solid Waste Management District. Officials say trash and recycling numbers in the district’s 19 member towns, trash tonnage increased in 2020 by 272 tons and recycling increased by 101 tons over 2019.
