(Turners Falls, MA) The budget for Franklin County Technical School is increasing by 6.7% or about $900,000 from last year’s figure. The budget was introduced to the selectboards in Gill and Montague earlier this week. Franklin County Tech looks to increase staff, add a new bus and make more classroom space available next year. The school has seen an enrollment increase of over 150 students since 2016. The Franklin County Technical School Committee will vote on the budget proposal of $14.4 million at their meeting next Wednesday.
