GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Franklin Regional Council of Governments, FRCOG, developed a Road Safety Action Plan for Franklin County with recommendations for reducing fatal and severe injury crashes through roadway improvements and education.
The top locations for severe and fatal accidents are concentrated around the major roadways of Route 2, I-91 and Routes 5&10 where FRCOG is suggesting intersection treatments and pedestrian, bicycle treatments.
