(Greenfield, MA) — The sound of live music once again rang across the Franklin County Fairgrounds Sunday as part of the first-annual “Freedom Fest” celebration. The event was intended to celebrate the return to normalcy following the recent COVID 19 pandemic, and featured food and beer vendors, a classic car show and live music from three up-and-coming local bands. Proceeds raised from the festival will go to support the ongoing maintenance of the fairgrounds, which is currently battling a serious erosion problem at the north end of the property.
