DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Frontier and Union 38 school districts have received $45,000 from the state’s Municipal Local Cybersecurity Grant Program to reduce cybersecurity threats. The funds will be used to hire external contractors to review and update the current cybersecurity threat plan.
The town of Charlemont also received a grant award of $20,000 through this program and will be adding a two-factor authentication system.
