(Montague, MA) — The Franklin Regional Transit Authority is moving across the river. The Montague Conservation Commission has ruled that a proposed new FRTA facility on Sandy Lane in Turners Falls would not impact surrounding wetlands. That clears the way for construction to begin. The FRTA had been operating for years out of a Deerfield Street, Greenfield garage, which the city eventually plans to sell once approval is given by the city council.
