GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Applicants for the Home Energy Assistance Program may experience longer than usual delays in application and payment processing this year due to the federal government shutdown impacting both staffing and funding.
The Home Energy Assistance Program is expected to limit their funding for heating emergencies only starting November 1st.
