GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Community College’s faculty and staff union, the Professional Association, is engaging in a no-confidence vote in the college’s President Michelle Schutt, and Provost Chet Jordan. The vote comes after a DEI study by the racial equity consultant RE-Center Race & Equity in Education in 2023 was cut short and the allegedly unflattering results swept under the rug. The online no-confidence voting system is set to close Tuesday.
