GCET’s North Build continues to spark funding conversation

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — GCET’s North Build continues to raise transparency questions when it comes to the project funding.

Greenfield Mayor Ginny Desorgher shared that she approved an increase of GCET’s ARPA funding to cover previous expenses and $106,000 for the completion of the North Build, with an additional $56,000 for other related expenses.

During public comment at Wednesday’s City Council meeting, GCET officials then said the North build would cost even more to complete.
