(Greenfield, MA) GCTV will be expanding its network and adding another channel at the end of the month. Government meetings will be getting their own channel, moving from channel 15 where public programming will remain to channel 17 on September 30th. GCTV has always been allowed two channels in their contract with Comcast, but has only broadcast on one in the past. Now, GCTV can cover more Greenfield City government meetings and also expand its community programming by having two separate channels. Greenfield residents have shown a strong interest in virtually participating in and watching City meetings since the pandemic created the opportunity.
