GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield Education Association has issued a statement in response to Superintendent Karin Patenaude’s resignation. The GEA says they are “dismayed” with Patenaude’s decision after sixteen years of “utmost integrity” and commitment to open communication.
Alarmed by what the GEA is calling “accusatory” and “hostile” communications from the School Committee, Mayor, and City Council, members of the Association are concerned about the challenging and precarious position of the district.
