(Franklin County, MA) The November 8th election is just around the corner and the last day to register to vote by mail or in person is Saturday, October 29th.

Voting by mail is now a permanent feature in Massachusetts elections, no excuse required and you can elect to receive mail-in ballots for all future elections when you apply for a ballot. The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st for the general election.

For Greenfield residents, early voting will be held in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall starting October 22nd through November 4th and on Election Day polls will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Greenfield High School, more details can be found on the City website here. The four questions on the ballot include the Millionaire’s tax amendment, dental insurance regulation, expanding availability of liquor licenses, and eligibility for driver’s licenses for undocumented people.
